The HEPA Tower Air Purifier

July 3rd, 2009 · No Comments · General

According to environmental studies, indoor air can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air. The result is build up of air pollutants that may come from such sources as dusts and mold spores. An ideal option is therefore to ensure cleaner indoor air that is safe for everyone. Air purifiers clean indoor air and reduce the likelihood of people getting diseases caused by bad air quality.

The world is not the same as before. Clean air is now a luxury more than ever with the increasing pollutants in the environment. Do you need an air purifier? You might be experiencing some allergies or other respiratory illnesses. These kinds of air purifiers take away the odors and gas in the air. If you want to help your home air purifier, better ventilate your home once in a while. This means that you just don’t consider the price but also its suitability.

When you suffer from allergies or asthma, you may think it may be a good idea to purchase an air filtration system for your house. You should as well clean the air filters, the air conditioner filters, and the duct filters every season. If you have tried all these and didn’t find adequate relief, then it may be better for you to think about using an air filter. Different home air purifier models cover different amounts of square footage so it is important to do the research and to find the model that will work best for you. You can usually find the best purifier by getting a hepa filter.

UV air purifiers are, however, an extremely useful addition to a more comprehensive air cleaning system. UV air purifiers use certain types of ultra violet light to neutralize and destroy microorganisms that live in our environment, such as bacteria and viruses, which can potentially be very harmful, particularly to young children or older people, or family members who have already been compromised by another illness. Don’t worry though — UV air purifiers won’t harm your DNA or that of your children in any way. For complete air purification, many manufacturers have combined ultra violet air purifiers with some other type of filter technology, such as HEPA, to ensure that the air you breathe is as safe and clean as possible.

Ozone is an irritant and breathing it in can worsen asthma and cause coughing, wheezing and chest pains. It also deadens your sense of smell, raises your sensitivity to pollen and mold and may even be responsible for permanent lung damage. Ozone is a highly effective killer that oxidizes whatever it comes into contact with. Sure, ozone kills bacteria and mold, but it’s also the same molecule responsible for the free radicals that can cause heart disease, cancer and premature aging.
